First Aid Trained (desirable)

References on request.

Eligible to work in the UK.

Valid passport.

Knowledge & understanding of safeguarding.(desirable)

NannyTap recommends your DBS is placed on the DBS Update Service.The app will ask you to submit your certificate number, where it will be checked.(with your permission).

Upload a clear recent photo of yourself, (no bikini/alcohol/snapchat Animal filters). 

Provide the best 'all about me' description. noting your recent training, variety of experience and any areas of SEN you specialise in 

(be sure to include all your best qualities).

Ensure you are on the update service. Double check all your certificates and that you have them available and to hand before highlighting on your profile. This will help to show your families that you are fully qualified and checked accordingly.


Nannytap will ask you to provide your photo ID (passport, driving license or other official Government ID / Certificates) before you are approved on to the platform.Also have one of the above to show parents on the agreed meet ups & on the day of all your New bookings.

Set a reasonable booking rate for yourself and explain why this is your rate in the about me section. i.e. (experience, knowledge, training). (Our app rate does not fall below the Uk minimum wage) 

Keep your profile & availability updated (keep your notifications on)

We advise promptness with responding to your messages & bookings.

Plan your journey and booking as efficiently as possible. Arrive ON time and stay in touch with your booking (communication is key).

Always have written back up of booking times, address, names etc.

If in an absolute emergency you need to cancel please give the parent enough notice. You are representing yourself and also have a booking who is relying on you.

Discuss & agree your payment method clearly with the parents before/during your booking request​.NannyTap platform does not process any payments to and from child carer & parent.
